Sweet pepper sauce

The sweet pepper sauce is  tasty and delicate and may be used in many preparations and recipes. You can enjoy it spread on bread, in a colorful bruschetta or the sauce can accompany roasted chicken meat or boiled vegetables.

It has a sweet and sour note, with a delicate in flavor, making it ideal to flavor a risotto or a pasta dish. You can prepare it in advance and store in the refrigerator for a few days. We recommend using yellow and red peppers to give a nice color to the sauce. Or you can also opt for the green ones for a different color and a sourer taste.

  • 3 red peppers
  • 3 yellow peppers
  • 1 fresh green onion
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Water

Cook the peppers with fresh onions and pass them in the mixer. Boil some water with the vinegar and the sugar for one minute. Blend all ingredients  to make a smooth liquid. Bring this mixture to a boil.  Let the mixture boil for another minute and let it cool down.
